SYMPTOM:
Terminal runs slowly or is slow
switching from one feature to another. If there is a long printing
delay, click here.
CAUSE:
Your network connection is faulty
or your system is bogged down or you are trying to sell tickets from
a Microsoft Windows DOS window rather than in full screen mode.
SOLUTIONS:
To ensure that the disk cache is
available to speed the application, always run Box Office Pro or Box
Office Lite in a full screen mode under Windows. If you have been
running the application in a Window, you will notice a remarkable
performance difference going to full screen mode and eliminating
processor time slice sharing. To set your shortcut for Full Screen
Mode, right-click the shortcut, select properties, select the
"Screen" tab, and select the "Full Screen" radio
button and press "Apply" and "Ok" to exit the
properties window. Note you can alternate between full screen and
Window modes by pressing a combination of Alt + Enter to toggle back
and forth.
